What is the difference between a spray perfume, a dry perfume, and a perfume oil?

The main difference is the carrier base: spray perfume is usually alcohol-based, perfume oil uses an oil base, and dry perfume is usually a solid perfume made with waxes and oils. Spray perfumes project farther, perfume oils stay closer to the skin and often last longer, and dry perfumes are the most portable and mess-free.

What are the benefits of using bath salts?

Bath salts can help with sore muscles, improve circulation, support relaxation, and promote emotional well-being through aromatherapy. When added to a warm bath, essential oils release natural scents that directly influence mood, emotions, and memory.

How long do products last / what is the shelf life?

Shelf life varies by product. Because products are made with no synthetic preservatives, they are best used fresh. Vitamin E oil is added to many formulas to extend shelf life naturally. Check individual product pages for specific guidance, and always store products in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.

How should I store my products?

Store all products in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and heat. Lotion bars in particular can soften or melt in warm conditions, so keep them in their tin and avoid leaving them in a hot car or sunny windowsill.

Are products made in small batches? Why does that matter?

Yes, every product is handmade in small batches. Small-batch production means you receive the freshest possible product, with closer attention to quality and consistency compared to mass-produced alternatives.

What packaging do you use? Is it eco-friendly?

Products are packaged in glass jars with bamboo lids, reusable metal tins, and bamboo tubes. They are wrapped in decorative burlap bags. No single-use plastic. All packaging is designed to be reused … and we encourage you to do so.

Can I request a custom blend?

Yes! Ann offers personalized aromatherapy consultations and custom blends. You can reach out via the Contact form on the website to discuss your needs. Custom blends can also be discussed in person at local markets.

Can I get a product personalized as a gift?

Yes. Many products offer gift wrap options (e.g., a decorative burlap bag) at checkout. You can also contact Ann directly to discuss custom gifting options or special requests.

Do you offer gift wrapping?

Yes! Gift wrap can be selected at checkout for applicable products such as the Lotion Bar and Lip Balm. Products come wrapped in a reusable bag.

Do you ship internationally?

No. At this time, Time4SelfLove ships only within the United States. International shipping is not currently offered.
