How should I store my products?
Store all products in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and heat. Lotion bars in particular can soften or melt in warm conditions, so keep them in their tin and avoid leaving them in a hot car or sunny windowsill.
What packaging do you use? Is it eco-friendly?
Products are packaged in glass jars with bamboo lids, reusable metal tins, and bamboo tubes. They are wrapped in decorative burlap bags. No single-use plastic. All packaging is designed to be reused … and we encourage you to do so.
Can I use essential oils directly in my bath water?
No — essential oils should never be added directly to bath water without dilution. They are hydrophobic (water-repelling) and will float on the surface, potentially causing skin irritation. Always dilute essential oils in a carrier oil (such as jojoba or sweet almond oil) or a bath dispersant first, then mix into the salts. The recommended safe amount for adults is 5–12 drops total per bath, well dispersed.
Do you offer any vegan perfume options?
Yes. Our dry / solid perfume collection uses candelilla wax (plant-based) instead of beeswax, making it a vegan-friendly perfume option.
What is a lotion bar and how is it different from regular lotion?
A lotion bar is a solid form of lotion made with moisturizing ingredients like beeswax, a butter, and a carrier oil — no water, no harsh chemicals. It softens slightly when it comes in contact with warm skin, melting into a non-greasy layer of nourishment.
What is the difference between a spray perfume, a dry perfume, and a perfume oil?
The main difference is the carrier base: spray perfume is usually alcohol-based, perfume oil uses an oil base, and dry perfume is usually a solid perfume made with waxes and oils. Spray perfumes project farther, perfume oils stay closer to the skin and often last longer, and dry perfumes are the most portable and mess-free.
What are the benefits of using bath salts?
Bath salts can help with sore muscles, improve circulation, support relaxation, and promote emotional well-being through aromatherapy. When added to a warm bath, essential oils release natural scents that directly influence mood, emotions, and memory.
What is the difference between a salt scrub and a sugar scrub?
Salt scrubs are coarser and more detoxifying — ideal for thicker skin areas (feet, elbows, legs) and for those wanting a circulation-boosting, deep-cleanse treatment. Sugar scrubs are gentler, more hydrating (sugar is a humectant), and better for sensitive or dry skin and the face. Salt can sting on freshly shaved skin or cuts; sugar is less likely to irritate. Salt scrubs are ideal for vigorous polishing; sugar scrubs are best for regular gentle maintenance.
What are the shipping rates? Do you offer free shipping?
Shipping rates are based on order subtotal (before tax): orders under $40 at $10 flat rate; orders $40-$59.99 at $5; orders $60 and above ship for free.
How long does it take to process my order?
Orders are typically processed within 1-2 business days after payment is confirmed. Processing may take longer during holidays or high-demand periods, and you will be notified if that is the case.
