To experience the full character and longevity of your perfume, apply it with intention and care. Begin by spraying it onto clean, moisturized skin, as hydrated skin helps fragrance last longer.

With the roll-ons, focus on pulse points such as the wrists, behind the ears, neck, and inner elbows where body warmth enhances diffusion.

With the sprayer, hold the bottle about 5–8 inches away and let the mist settle naturally; avoid rubbing the perfume into the skin, as it can alter the scent’s chemistry. 

Use sparingly: You only need 1-2 sprays, or a little roll-on of Pure Perfume or Eau de Parfum.  It will last 6-8 (EDP) or 8-12 (PP) hours.

Store your perfume in a cool, dark and dry place to preserve its quality and stability.  When stored properly: 

• Pure Perfume (Parfum) has a shelf life of 5+ years

• Eau de Parfum: has a shelf life of 3-5 years

For the 5 ml and 10ml roll-on bottles, like with any roll-on, store the bottle upright with the roller ball on top. This helps prevent the liquid inside from pooling near the roller and leaking out. Keep the cap tightly screwed on after each use to create a secure seal that blocks leaks.

  Note: the 5 ml and 10 ml bottles are identical, but for 5 ml the bottle is only half full.
• The 15 ml Pure Perfume and the 15 ml Eau de Parfum editions come in an elegant glass bottle (see picture).

(Pure) Parfum / Extrait de Parfum (20-40%)
The richest and most concentrated form of fragrance, parfum  - also called extrait or pure perfume  - contains the highest percentage of aromatic compounds. With a typical concentration of 20-40% perfume oils, it offers deep, complex character and long-lasting wear. Only a few dabs are needed, and the scent can linger on the skin for 8-12 hours or more. Parfum is prized for its intensity, elegance, and the way it develops slowly over time.

Eau de Parfum (EDP) (15-20%)
Eau de Parfum balances strength with versatility. With 15-20% fragrance concentration, it projects well without being overpowering and typically lasts 6-8 hours. EDPs are popular for daily use and evening wear, as they capture the richness of a parfum but in a more approachable format.

Eau de Toilette (EDT) (5-15%)
Eau de Toilette is lighter, fresher, and more radiant. Containing 5-15% aromatic oils, it usually lasts 4-6 hours and is often worn in warmer weather or for daytime use. EDTs tend to highlight the top and middle notes, creating a brighter impression compared to the deeper base of parfum and EDP.

Eau de Cologne (EDC) (2-6%)
Traditionally a refreshing citrus-based blend, Eau de Cologne today refers to a very light fragrance strength, with 2-6% concentration. It lasts around 2-3 hours, making it ideal for a quick, revitalizing splash throughout the day. Colognes are often associated with crispness, freshness, and casual wear.

Eau Fraîche (1-3%)
Even lighter than cologne, Eau Fraîche contains only 1-3% fragrance oils, diluted mostly in water. The result is an ultra-refreshing mist that lasts up to 2 hours. It’s perfect for a subtle veil of scent in hot climates or when only a gentle touch of fragrance is desired.

Always essential oils, never fragrance oils!

We only use essential oils in our products.  We never use the 60%-95% cheaper chemical fragrance oils you will find in a lot of products at other stores.

Origin
Essential oils come from plant parts like flowers, leaves, or bark via steam distillation or cold pressing, capturing the plant's natural essence.  Fragrance oils, however, are lab-created using synthetic chemicals, to replicate scents.​

Uses and Benefits
Essential oils suit aromatherapy due to therapeutic properties, like easing headaches with peppermint.  Fragrance oils excel in candles, and soaps for their strong, consistent throw and longevity under heat.  Although fragrance oils should not be used in skin care, a lot of (online) vendors do.

Essential Oils in Perfumes
Essential oils offer natural therapeutic benefits and authenticity in perfumes, providing aromatherapy effects like stress relief or mood enhancement that synthetic fragrance oils lack.  Essential oils contain active plant compounds that can deliver health benefits making perfumes multifunctional beyond mere scent.  Fragrance oils prioritize aroma without these bioactive elements.
