The name "essential oil" was used for the first time in the 16th Century by Paracelsus, who named the effective component of a drug "Quinta essential" (Ernest Guenther).
Are you looking for a technique to repattern your negative emotions and instill positive affirmations? Are you looking for a more positive outlook and spiritual expansion? Ann will introduce an Essential Oil Tapping Technique (EOTT) that focuses on meridian points to restore balance to your body’s energy.
You will learn about the pressure points while bringing the thoughts and emotions into consciousness.
This will allow you to speed your personal transformation of mind, body, and spirit.
In this session, you will learn about
the nine tapping points/meridians,
how to do an EFT,
how to combine this technique with essential oils (EOTT).
This Session may naturally allow your vibrational frequency to elevate.

1. There are different ways or techniques we can apply pressure to energy points:
Acupuncture uses needles
Reiki uses hands on or above the body to get the energy flowing. In my Qi-Gong class we are tapping on meridians to get the energy in our body flowing.
EFT uses tapping
2. What is tapping or EFT? (Emotional Freedom Technique)
It is a technique that combines ancient Chinese acupressure and modern psychology.
We are literally tapping on endpoints or meridians of our body while saying certain statements. Whatever is going on in our lives, we send a calming signal to the amygdala in the brain: very ancient fight or flight response center in the brain. The amygdala is responsible for processing strong emotions, such as fear, pleasure, or anger. It might also send signals to the cerebral cortex, which controls conscious thought.
Meridian points or energy hot spots are areas of the body where energy flows through. These pathways help balance energy flow to maintain your health.
3. The philosophy behind tapping
Disciplines such as yoga, massage, tai chi, and acupuncture rely on a body-mind connection, and evidence shows that these interventions can relieve stress, depression, anxiety, and other psychological disorders. EFT tapping falls into the category of body-centered therapies.
Tapping draws on the ancient Chinese practice of acupuncture, which teaches that the body's energy travels along specific pathways. Certain points on these pathways are stimulated to improve the flow of energy. The stimulation is done by inserting very thin needles (acupuncture) or by applying pressure (acupressure).
Studies show that acupuncture is effective for some conditions. Some scientists believe that it works because it stimulates the central nervous system and causes the body to release helpful chemicals. EFT tapping stimulates acupoints by touch rather than by the use of needles, making it similar to acupressure.
4. Advantages of EFT Tapping
As a self-help strategy, EFT tapping has advantages over more conventional treatment. It is:
Painless
Inexpensive
Easy to do
Less time-consuming than other types of therapy
